This Morning's Josie Gibson gives health update as she braves TV studio

This Morning star Josie Gibson was back on our screens on Tuesday as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield welcomed her to the show.

The Bristolian presenter came live from outside the Television Centre in London - dressed as Spider-Woman. As part of a segment celebrating the 20th anniversary of Spider-Man being on the big screen.

Josie said: "Good morning both. It’s your favourite crime fighting superhero Spider-Man here, web slinging my way around the television centre, making sure everything is alright.”

Phillip quickly replied: "I don't recall Spider-Man having a Bristolian accent". To which, Josie quickly lifted her mask and said: "It's me, guys".

Phillip joked: "Wow, I had no idea". At 11am on Tuesday Josie will abseil down the side of the Television Centre.

Explaining the reason for the abseil, she told Holly: “With great power comes great responsibility. That’s the famous quote said to Peter Parker before he became one of our favourite superheroes - Spider-Man."

Josie was feeling brave as she prepared for a huge challenge (ITV)

"For me, it’s taking a whole new meaning. Today marks Spider-Man's 20th anniversary on the big screen and I’m going to be scaling that iconic wall on the television centre. Good luck to me!"

When asked by Phillip if she felt okay ahead of the event, she shared an update about her mental health. Thankfully, all is well for Josie, who said: “I went for a bit of hypnotherapy. I feel, Phil, like Spider-Woman!”

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV and the ITV Hub
