This Morning descended into chaos on Tuesday when Gino D'Acampo boldly mocked Phillip Schofield's dramatic exit from the show.
The celebrity chef then claimed he is about to fill the role as Holly Willoughby's co-host from September. Gino, 46, was back in the kitchen today to show viewers how to make some summer desserts and cocktails.
Gino's return to This Morning saw him refer to all the drama he has missed.

As he joined Holly, 42, and Dermot O'Leary in the studio he tried to make light of the situation, but it didn't go down well with the presenters, the Mirror reports. Gino asked whether he had missed "any news" over the past month upon his return.
When introducing himself and what delights he would be cooking up in the kitchen, Gino explained how he "wasn't allowed to make anything with aubergines" before he added: "Everything is under control, I'm back. Anything in the news I should know?"
Dermot then looked at Holly and joked: "This is the last time we will ever see Gino on This Morning."
Before the show came to an end today, Gino also hinted that he would be filling Phillip's shoes as a permanent presenter once September rolls around. He said: "See you all in September when I will be hosting", before Holly jokingly pushed him out of the camera view.
Gino's antics didn't go unnoticed by viewers at home. On Twitter, Georgia said: "Gino is so funny", while Simon said: "Gino asking if anything has happened since he has been away from This Morning..."
Jonathan said: "Gino never disappoints" and Sophie said: "Studio fell silent when Gino said 'any news while I've been gone'". Selina said: "Gino was making me laugh today".
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITVX
