This Morning's Holly Willoughby jumped off the sofa as Phillip Schofield pranked her live on air.
As the show returned for its Wednesday episode, hosts Holly and Phil fronted a spider special. The pair were joined by a number of experts as well as some of the eight-legged creatures as the experts tried to explain they were mostly harmless and that the fear people experience came from other things rather than the spider itself.
Whilst Phil insists he's fine with spiders, Holly admitted she didn't like them - but said she wasn't phobic of them. However, as the segment wrapped, Phil had a prank in store for Holly, making her jump off her seat.
As an expert joined This Morning whilst holding a spider himself, he said: "When you think about mosquitoes and what they can do to the human race. These guys predate. One of the statistics said spiders and bats kill a ton of insects per night. That's a ton of insects that don't hurt us," as he held onto a spider called Rosie who Holly didn't seem to mind.
"See they're much more friendly when they have a name like Rosie. I think name them, that's the first thing you have to do," she added.
As the segment wrapped, Phil looked next to him on the sofa and said, "how did that one get out?" as Holly jumped up from beside him and clutched at her script. As he broke into laughter, she looked at him angrily and shook her head.
"It's too easy," Phil remarked before Holly went to say: "You little -" as Phil held his head in his hands and laughed.
When the segment finished and the pair introduced the competition, Phil joked: "I'm amazed you didn't swear," as Holly laughed and sat back down on the sofa alongside Phil, and added: "Well it was very close."
It comes after Holly spoke about her close bond with Phil.
Speaking about their friendship and close bond, Holly told The Mirror and other press: "They're [ Dancing on Ice and This Morning] different shows and that's what's so nice about it. There's a real ease when we work together. It's not like you're going in like, oh we just need to find our feet or rhythm, it's an absolute given. It's nice to be doing something a bit different but still together."
Phil agreed, as he called Holly his "best mate", adding: "The lovely thing is, I get to spend even more time with my best mate. It's lovely and I adore Holly completely and absolutely and so to be able to joke around together in the mornings [is great]."
