This Morning's Holly Willoughby kept 'in the dark' over co-star's return to ITV show

Holly Willoughby appeared completely 'blindsided' by the news that one of her This Morning colleagues was coming back to the show after a lengthy hiatus, finding out about their return for the first time live on air.

Holly was once again alongside presenting partner in crime Phillip Schofield for another episode of the ITV daytime favourite, with the pair being joined in the studio by regular guests including Matthew Wright and chef Suzanne Mulholland. And, while she wasn't actually on set, fashion guru and What Not To Wear star Trinny Woodall also played a role in proceedings.

Trinny, described as Holly as her 'favourite fashionista turned beauty guru' appeared on screen to give a makeup masterclass, with her Trinny Tutorial segment seeing This Morning viewer Lisa being given a lesson on what makeup best suited her skin tone, hair and eye colour.

As cameras cut back to Holly and Phillip in the studio, Phillip announced that Trinny would soon be back with them, saying: "We've actually got some very exciting news as next month, Trinny is going to be making a return to our This Morning catwalk."

Failing to disguise the fact she'd been given no indication that was happening, Holly responded: "Ah amazing...well if you're in need of a fashion transformation....sometimes I find this stuff out as I'm hosting the show. I'm like a viewer sometimes guys!"

As he uncomfortably chuckled next to her, Phillip told her: " Oooh! You could have styled it out," as Holly replied: "I couldn't," before trying to regain composure and continue with the show.
