This Morning's Holly Willoughby causes studio 'panic' as she tumbles to the floor

Holly Willoughby was the source of some 'panic' in the This Morning studio on Monday, as she fell to the floor during a playful tussle with Alison Hammond, leaving producers concerned she'd flashed her underwear to the nation.

At the end of Friday's show, former Big Brother star Alison, the newly confirmed host of The Great British Bake Off, announced that she would be hosting on Monday, in a move that came as a big surprise to viewers. Alison didn't elaborate on who out of Holly and Phillip Schofield she'd be replacing but, on Sunday, it was confirmed that it was Phillip she'd be standing in for.

Having championed Alison to get a more prominent role on the show for ages, her This Morning 'promotion' was welcomed by many fans online and her double act with Holly provided a really chaotic moment as cameras rolled. The two presenters acted out a police chase, with viewers at home seeing Alison chase Holly around the studio, shouting: "Don't you worry, I'll catch her! See you after the break."

However, things went awry hen Holly ran into Alison and fell to the ground, with the hosts showing the clip to fans when the show returned from an ad break, with Holly remarking: "Well not only did you catch me, but we sort of collided together and I ended up on the floor."

Snd it was then that the hosts admitted there had been some 'concern' about Holly flashing people at home, with Holly revealing producers had 'checked' to make sure, commenting: "No, we didn't see any knicker there. We did check, actually," prompting Alison to joke: ""We will be rewinding it!"
