Holly Willoughby has broken her silence on her battle with coronavirus as she returned to This Morning.
The 41-year-old has been absent from ITV's flagship daytime programme ever since she received a positive test result on March 13. Presenters such as Josie Gibson and Alison Hammond have been drafted in to host the show alongside Phillip Schofield while she recovered.
Holly was delighted to return alongside her usual broadcasting partner for Wednesday's episode - and spoke about how she initially experienced a difficult 48 hours following her diagnosis.

She said: "It's so nice to be back. I feel like I've been gone forever.
"I had 48 hours of feeling really rubbish. Just in bed, head on the pillow, headache - and all that kind of stuff. And then after that I just felt like I had a bit of a cold and a bit rubbish. But fine. I'm fine now.
"It was just waiting for that red line to go. It's like the worst advent calendar ever."
Holly's followers on Instagram flooded the comments and were delighted the popular TV personality had returned to the show.
