Dermot O'Leary made an announcement regarding his future on This Morning.
Dermot replaced Eamonn Holmes on the show as the regular Friday host last year. But now the host, who is often seen alongside Alison Hammond, has said he would love to stay on the show for another decade.
Together, Alison and Dermot cover the Friday shows, filling the shoes of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. They also step up during holidays so that Phil and Holly can enjoy a break.

Speaking on The Dish podcast, Dermot said: "If someone said to me: ‘You’re doing Fridays for the next ten years,’ I’d be over the moon. I love it."
While the two get on well great together now it wasn't always plain sailing as they were "thrown" together. Speaking about their difficult beginning of working together, Dermot told Fabulous magazine last September: “We never got to pilot, we’d never read a script through, we didn’t even have lunch together. We literally met for the first time in 15 years or so and that morning we presented two-and-a-half hours of live television together."
While on ITV's Lorraine, Alison added: "We were thrown together on a Friday, a bit like an arranged marriage. It took about two months to feel comfortable.
"We told each other what we didn't like. We had a few private chats and said 'oh I don't like this about you, and the other said well I don't like you when you do this'. I think the fact we were honest and able to talk to each other... I trust him now."
