This Morning's Dermot O'Leary was left embarrassed as he made a blunder on live TV today.
The 48-year-old was back hosting the ITV mid-morning show today with fellow presenter Alison Hammond, as the pair led the show with interviews with the stars of SAS: Who Dares Wins and The Split.
As part of their Friday show, the pair were also joined by Martin Fry from 80s pop group ABC, who came on the show to perform the group's hit single The Look of Love and for a quick chat about the band's upcoming live shows.
However, presenter Dermot was left red-faced today as he made a blunder with the autocue.
As they rounded off the chat, Alison sent Martin off to join the rest of the group as the camera changed to focus on Dermot and Alison, who were ready to introduce the performance.
"Just a reminder that ABC's anniversary tour begins this June," Dermot began, before pausing as Alison just looked into the camera. There was a brief moment of silence before Dermot laughed at his error.
He said: "With a very special performance - sorry I thought it was you - with a very special performance at the Royal Albert Hall, ahh sorry!" before Alison finished with: "But now playing their iconic Look Of Love, it's ABC."
Alison and Dermot have been hosting the Friday show together for a while now and they really enjoy their presenting partnership, with the pair quickly having been able to iron out any differences.
"We are so honest with each other now, we tell each other: 'Can you not do that again. I don’t like it,'" Alison shared, "It's the little things, nothing major. He steals my lines and he doesn’t keep up to speed with my life on Instagram."
Dermot added of their first meeting: "We never got to pilot, we’d never read a script through, we didn’t even have lunch together. We literally met for the first time in 15 years or so and that morning we presented two-and-a-half hours of live television together.
"The idea that there wouldn’t be a period of getting to know each other is insane."
