Dermot O'Leary was left full of envy for Alison Hammond as the pair hosted Friday's This Morning together, as he was unable to enjoy the same food as his co-host.
At the end of a full week of presenting the ITV daytime show, Dermot and Alison were joined in the studio by guests including Carol Vorderman, Gyles Brandreth and a trio of tribute acts, who put on a special performance for the hosts and viewers at home. And someone else who made an appearance was one of This Morning's resident chefs, Phil Vickery.
Phil took up residence in the show's own kitchen to prepare an Easter feast for his colleagues to tuck into. While April 7 was of course Good Friday, the chef explained that he was going to be doing a traditional Easter Sunday dinner, with lamb as the centre piece.

As Phil set about making the meal, including a sauce he put over the lamb, two plates were put in front of Dermot and Alison, with Dermot's looking devoid of any meet, And, as Alison tucked into her food, Dermot remarked: "I'm a Roman, so I can't eat lamb today, I can't eat meat today.
"So they (producers) said 'what do you want?' And I said 'oh, just give me the trimmings,' which are nice..." before holding his plate of vegetables and potatoes up for the camera and adding: "I'm not saying this isn't going to taste sensational; of course it is Phil, I'm just envious of her here. Look!"
Trying to soften the blow, Alison sarcastically replied: "Don't be envious, it's alright," before urging Phil to carry on before Dermot became even more jealoys.
