This Morning star Deidre Sanders heaped praise on the show on Tuesday, as she appeared to hit back at claims of a "toxic" environment behind the scenes.
The show came under fire in recent weeks following host Phillip Schofield stepping down from his role on the show last month - with him later admitting to an affair with a younger colleague.
In the fallout of his exit, and co-host Holly Willoughby's return to the show for the first time since the admission, questions have been raised about a cover-up at ITV studios with former staff members coming forward with claims of a "toxic" atmosphere and behind the scenes "bullying".
Holly spoke out on Monday in a statement, where she said she had been left "shaken", "troubled" and "let down" over Phillip's revelations in the wake of him leaving ITV altogether.
ITV stars have spoken out over the past few weeks both about Phillip, as well as This Morning - with some calling the environment "toxic".
Now, This Morning regular Deidre has appeared to defend the show and all of her colleagues working on it, with a message praising them.
Amid claims of "toxicity" and "bullying", agony aunt Deidre instead said her colleagues were "lovely" and that the show had a "supportive environment".
Appearing to take Holly and her co-host Josie Gibson by surprise with the statement, she said: "Can I just say quickly it’s so good to be back here with people who are so lovely to work with.
"I love this kind, caring, supportive environment. Thank you, I just wanted to say that."
As Josie grinned at her co-star, Holly told Deidre: "It is so good to have you back. We love you too, thank you Deidre."
Deidre's support for the show and its stars comes after ITV boss Magnus Brooke was questioned by MPs at Tuesday's Culture, Media and Sport Committee, about "unhappy" staff at This Morning and claims of "bullying" at the daytime show.
MP John Nicolson began the hearing by asking Brooke whether he was "ok" in a direct reference to a speech Holly gave on Monday.
Brooke soberly replied that he was “fine” before the questioning commenced.
The MP went on to quiz Brooke about "bullying allegations" to which the ITV boss insisted: "Look we take our responsibilities in relation to safeguarding a duty of care very seriously. Bullying is absolutely in breach of our Code of Conduct, very clearly."
Since Phillip quit This Morning, the likes of Eamonn Holmes and Dr Ranj Singh have spoken out to condemn Schofield's position at ITV's flagship daytime show after the host of 20 years stepped down after confessing to an affair with a younger runner.
Dr Ranj Singh, who was a regular contributor on the show, said he made a complaint about the toxicity at This Morning to the head of ITV during his time there.
Meanwhile, Eamonn told Dan Wootton on GB News that "the toxicity" is with Phillip.
