This Morning's Alison Hammond taken aback as guest gushes over 'beautiful' new look

Alison Hammond was praised as she showed off her "beautiful" new look.

The presenter returned to front today's edition of This Morning alongside Dermot O'Leary. They hosted a jam packed episode which included interviews with Coronation Street stars, Mikey North and Millie Gibson.

The two were also joined by Gyles Brandreth and Isla Traquair for the opening segment of the show to tackle the morning headlines. They discussed how latest research has shown people across the UK are too afraid to pay compliments.

Gyles interjected before the discussion to pay tribute to Alison as he described her as "beautiful". The broadcaster was taken aback by the praise and described him as "very kind".

Alison said she enjoys giving people compliments and viewers following the show on Twitter were gushing over her new look. The presenter debuted a new hairstyle and fans heaped praise on the look.
