This Morning's Alison Hammond tags wrong Dermot after sharing hilarious dance video

This Morning's Alison Hammond made a bit of a blunder when she tagged the wrong Dermot in a video of the pair larking about.

Alison, 47, and co-host Dermot O'Leary, 48, were lip-synching to Annie's It's The Hard Knock Life in their dressing room before going on This Morning.

The pair gave it their all with an impassioned routine in which Dermot kept his eyes closed the whole time in concentration.

Alison looked stunning sporting a black t.shirt and leggings and gorgeous shoulder-length curls.

She excitedly captioned the post: "Are we in Tune with each other ??? Well maybe Opposites attract !’ See you at 10 am @thismorning @dermot."

Thinking she'd tagged her pal, the mum-of-one sauntered onto the ITV set, however fans were quick to point out she'd referenced the wrong Dermot.

The TV veteran's Instagram handle is @dermotoleary.

One fan joked: "Tagging the wrong dermot. Poor guy won't know what's going on."

Another said: "Think you tagged the wrong dermot."

While a third concluded that it "must have been the excitement."

Of course there was nothing Alison could do about the faux pas as she was presenting the Friday show with her pal.

One fan commented: "oh noo, lol she's live now she can't fix it."

Unfortunately for Alison, she made another blunder when she was on air.

This Morning fans were left cringing when the Brummie's mobile started ringing as a caller opened up during an emotional phone-in.

Alison was forced to apologise as her phone started ringing while a new mum said she'd been feeling unsupported after giving birth to her daughter seven weeks ago.

As agony aunt Deidre offered the caller advice, Alison’s phone started loudly ringing, leaving her flustered as she pulled it from her pocket, desperately trying to switch it off.

Red-faced and startled she said: “I’m so sorry everybody. I’m so sorry.”

At the end of the segment, Alison apologised again, and Dermot replied: “Don’t worry. It happens,” before he jokingly whispered: “Never let it happen again.”

This Morning fans were cringing over the incident, with one tweeting: “Oh, Alison! Why didn't you put your phone on silent?”

Another quipped: “I’d have thought turning your phone off while presenting would be a NO BRAINER.”

While a third said: "“Alison and her impeccable timing. Her phone ringing is a complete Alisonism.”

This Morning is on weekdays on ITV at 10.30am
