This Morning host Alison Hammond was forced to apologise to her fans on Friday, June 9, after learning that the word GOAT had an alternative meaning to the name of an animal - leaving her in stitches.
The Brummie presenter returned to our screens with her co-star Dermot O'Leary today, taking over from Holly Willoughby and Craig Doyle - who'd been presenting with Willoughby since Wednesday - and while discussing the latest news headlines with regulars Nick Ferrari and Matthew Wright, they came upon a story in which a goat called Simbi is a contender for winning the record for having the world's biggest ears.
But Dermot soon revealed the word's other meaning - Greatest Of All Time - much to Alison's shock, who admitted that she had no knowledge that it had any other connotation.

Talking to the Matthew and Nick, he said: "We like to think you two are the GOATs. The Greatest of All Times." Alison soon chimed in, adding: "I didn't know that it meant that! I did not know!"
"Someone's been calling Alison a goat online and she thinks she's been getting abuse! Someone's saying you're the 'Greatest Of All Time'," Dermot added, sending Alison in fits of giggles.
"I've been blocking so many people," Alison laughed, "I'm so sorry if I blocked you. I'm so sorry!"
This hysterics come soon after the opening of the show had the former Big Brother star chuckling as Dermot joined several other members of the This Morning crew to recreate the dance routine to Donna Summer's Hot Stuff from The Full Monty to honour one of their guests, Robert Carlyle, who appeared to talk about its revival 25 years later as a television show for Disney+.
And fans couldn't contain their laughter, with many demanding he change careers. One fan posted on Twitter to say: ""OMG, the way that Full Monty tribute intro on @thismorning @ITV made me LOL! Dr Scott, hello, and as for Dermot, the dude needs to get into proper acting."
Another wrote: "Dermot and the #thismorning crew doing the full Monty dance" followed by a series of crying emojis.
