Alison Hammond is going into battle with This Morning co-host Dermot O'Leary for the same television award, as some viewers continue to push for them to be made the show's full time hosts.
Alison and Dermot have been the daytime programme's Friday presenters for close to two years now, having taken over from Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford at the end of 2020. While their appointment ahead of the popular husband and wife paring raised some eyebrows at first and some angry viewers hit out at ITV for their decision, Alison and Dermot have gone onto be a popular double act, with fans praising their on screen chemistry.
But now their friendships may soon have a competitive edge as they go up against each other for the Best Presenter accolade at this year's TV Times awards. The famous magazine is once again throwing voting open to the public across a range of categories and Alison and Dermot face some tough competition in theirs.

Other nominees are The One Show's Alex Jones, The Masked Singer and Dancer's Joel Dommett, Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid, The Chase host Bradley Walsh and Ant and Dec, famous for their long-running winning streak at the National Television Awards.
Alison is also up against the Geordie duo at this year's rescheduled NTAs, which will take place next month, with her making the Best Presenter shortlist ahead of under fire This Morning colleagues Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Alison's award nominations come two decades after she first shot to TV fame on Big Brother and right as she celebrated 20 years as a member of This Morning family, with her being the victim of a huge surprise at the start of Monday's show.
