This Morning's Alison Hammond hints at presenter shake up for Friday show

Alison Hammond has hinted to fans that she may be joined by a different face on tomorrow's This Morning.

Normally, on a Friday, Alison is joined on the show's sofa by co-host Dermot O'Leary.

But it appears that he could be replaced on tomorrow's episode by Josie Gibson instead.

Sharing a story to her Instagram account, Alison posted a short clip of her alongside close friend and fellow presenter Josie, having a laugh while in a car.

Pulling silly faces and showing off some of their best dance moves, the women seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves.

Alison captioned the video, as she wrote: "Tomorrow at 10am. @ThisMorning. @JosieGibson85."

Josie is a fan favourite on ITV's This Morning as the former Big Brother star has previously stepped in to fill absences.

She recently stepped up to the helm once more when Phil had coronavirus, after previously covering for Holly when she was ill back in December.

At the time, fans were delighted with Josie's hosting and viewers made the same demand - that she should be a regular presenter.

The 36-year-old has been part of the This Morning family since 2019 as a competition presenter, and in December a source exclusively told OK!: "ITV have been investing a lot of time in Josie’s development, they see her as a real star of the future.

"Just like Alison Hammond before her they think she has the personality and talent to take on a more leading role on the show."

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub
