This Morning presenter Alison Hammond fought back tears as the daytime show paid tribute to a young crew member who died at just 19.
Matthew Lock died after taking his own life in 2023.
Matthew’s parents appeared on Thursday’s show (17 April) to raise awareness of ADHD and the increased suicide risk that comes with the condition.
Alongside co-host Dermot O’Leary the show paid a special tribute to the 19-year-old.
O’Leary said: “He was a cherished member of our family.”
Hammond’s voice cracked as she told Matthew’s parents: “He would be so proud of what you are doing.”
