Alison Hammond has confirmed yet another This Morning host shake-up, sharing the news that she won't be presenting alongside Dermot O'Leary at the end of this week.
While some viewers are still calling for Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes to be given back their jobs as Friday hosts, despite the fact that Eamonn has now quit ITV for a job on GB News, other fans have loved Alison and Dermot's partnership since the pair took over from Ruth and Eamonn at the start of 2021. However, Alison got a new presenter partner in crime in early May, as she took charge with Craig Doyle for the episode on Bank Holiday Monday.
Former Holiday host Craig has become a regular on This Morning to front competition segments and viewers loved seeing him make the step up to a main presenter show alongside Alison. And now Irish star Craig has confirmed that he will be back on This Morning on Friday. Craig revealed news of his This Morning return via Instagram on Monday, telling fans he'd be back with 'ray of sunshine,' Alison.

The former Big Brother contestant then shared the post on her Insta story along with a round of applause GIF. News that Craig will be back as a main host on the daytime programme comes after Alison praised him after last time, with viewers flooding the comments section of her post calling on bosses to give him more opportunities.
Alison wrote: "Well that was fun @craigadoyle Thanks for stepping in babs , loved it , your a natural," and her many followers were quick to tell her how much they loved the new double act. One replied: "Loved Craig ! You are a natural. And you are so funny with lots of energy . Please can you be on again."
Echoing those sentiments, another replied: "It was really good fun.. thought Craig had done it before for some reason, sure he'll be back," and a third commented: "You two together? Real chemistry. Votes for both of you to become regulars together!"
