Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield's replacement for Tuesday's episode of This Morning has been revealed.
Phil stepped down from the show with immediate effect at the weekend, whilst it was also confirmed Holly would be taking an early break for the May Bank Holiday week and half-term following Phil's exit.
As a result, Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, who present Friday's show, stepped in on Monday's episode, where they led a tribute to Phil's time on the show, in what fans described as a 'bizarre' send-off.
During today's show, it was confirmed who was presenting tomorrow amid Holly's break and Phil's departure.
At the end of the show today, Alison said her goodbye to viewers before adding: "On tomorrow's This Morning, Wham's Andrew Ridgeley will be live in the studio to reveal how he's celebrating his 40th anniversary."
As Dermot shared: "And money man Martin Lewis is going to help you with your financial concerns. We'll see you tomorrow!"
"See you tomorrow!," Alison chimed in to add. The pair are likely to present for the rest of the week, including their usual Friday slot. They are usually the ones who cover Holly and Phil when they're off for their school holiday breaks.
In a statement released over the weekend, Phil confirmed he was quitting the show with immediate effect.
"I have always been proud to cover fascinating stories on This Morning. But recently, This Morning itself has become the story. Throughout my career in TV – including the difficult last few days – I have always done my best to be honourable and kind," he said.
"I understand that ITV has decided the current situation can’t go on, and I want to do what I can to protect the show that I love. So I have agreed to step down from This Morning with immediate effect, in the hope that the show can move forward to a bright future."
He concluded his statement by confirming he'd be back on TV in a few weeks' time, adding: "I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me – especially This Morning’s amazing viewers – and I’ll see you all for the Soap Awards next month."
His co-host Holly also released a statement, admitting the "sofa wouldn't be the same without Phil".
She said: "It’s been over 13 great years presenting This Morning with Phil and I want to take this opportunity to thank him for all of his knowledge, his experience and his humour. The sofa won’t feel the same without him."
