This Morning competition winner Heather Bone tragically died today at the age of 41 following a heartbreaking battle with breast cancer.
The beloved TV guest, who appeared on the show multiple times, shared her devastating story and inspiring outlook when she took part in the Dosh on your Doorstep challenge back in June.
It was there that Heather told host Alison Hammond she had just three months to live.
She ended up winning the £1,000 cash prize to throw a party with all her loved ones as a chance to say goodbye.
And the presenter, who met Heather a few times, took to Twitter earlier today and paid a heartwarming tribute to Heather.
The bubbly presenter wrote: "God bless Heather on her next journey now, I’m so honoured to have met her. RIP Heather."
It was then revealed Heather previously proposed to her husband on This Morning in 2012, and the show gave her bonus £1,000 and a special message from Craig David for her birthday.
"I got diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019, I then got the all clear just before my 40th birthday, I thought things were getting back to normal, I then got told I had brain mets, so now I am getting myself organised," Heather said.
"I have been told I've got three months to live, so I am going to have a 'wake me up before I go, go' party, a party before my passing."
Alison asked: "How do you continue to be upbeat for your sons and your husband?"
Heather replied: "Because there is no point moping, it is what it is, if I mope it won't help my family, my husband or my children.
"So I am in auto-mode at the moment."
They later revealed her Instagram @heathers_cancer_journey had racked up more than 10,000 more followers since her appearance on the show.
Heather married partner Daniel in 2018 after 17 years together, in a beautiful ceremony paid for by the This Morning team after she proposed on the show in 2012.
She has two sons aged 15 and 16, and she previously told the Chichester Observer : "I'm not scared of dying but I'm scared of leaving my kids."
"I tell them everything. I try to talk to them as much as I can.
"My 16-year-old is doing his GCSEs this year. It's hard but they are doing alright."
Heather also lost her mum to ovarian cancer when she was 24, and her father suddenly in his sleep five years later.
She threw her 'Wake Before I Go Go' party in August.
Guests wore colourful wigs and enjoyed a dance, with Heather admitting she didn't get into bed until midnight.
She said on This Morning: "It went fantastic, everyone turned up in wigs, it was nice to see people I haven't seen for quite a long time and then trying to find out who's under that wig.
"It was really really nice."
Eamonn Holmes asked her if it has been an emotional or happy day or a bit of both.
Heather replied: "It was everything mixed up, it was emotional, it was happy, it was nice to see work friends I hadn't seen for a while.
"It was really nice."
Heather's interview left viewers feeling emotional, with one tweeting: "Awww loved seeing Heather on @thismorning glad she got her party, not an easy interview to watch, everybody should be more like Heather."
"Glad you had your party Heather God bless," another posted.
A third viewer wrote: "That must have been tough for Heather, such an inspiring lady..."
