This Morning viewers were in hysterics on Tuesday as Gino D'Acampo turned into an agony uncle for the call-in segment of the show.
The 45-year-old Italian chef joined Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby in the studio to dish out advice to various people watching at home - but not all the advice was stellar.
When one woman called in to quiz the chef on ways to spice up a marriage in the doldrums, Gino did not hold back.
The caller explained: While I’m very, very happily married, sometimes, Gino, you just need that little bit of extra spice, and I thought with you being an international love god and a world famous chef, I cannot wait to hear your fabulous tips.”
The chef replied: “You want a bit of spice in your life? I’m going to tread very carefully here. I think what you should do if you want to put spice in your marriage, is to try something that you haven’t tried before.”
He then continued: “So, if you want to break down some boundaries within the limit of what you think your husband will accept - an example: try to have a threesome.”
Holly and Phillip were open-mouthed in slight shock at his candour, before they burst into laughter in response.
Gino went on: “Why not? Why not just get someone else involved and see what’s going to happen.”
Phillip turned to the camera to ask caller Julia what her thoughts were on Gino’s advice and she replied: “Don’t be so ridiculous.”
Holly then joked: “In one moment you’ve said something we’ve all been wanting to say for years.”
The caller then weighed in saying: “I would rather have a kidney out with no anaesthetic than have a threesome, thank you very much.”
This Morning fans were left in hysterics at the exchange and took to Twitter to praise Gino for the hilarious segment.
One one: “What the hell am I watching? #AskGino #ThisMorning it’s pure TV gold” with a string of crying laughing emojis.
“I love the way Gino kinda forgets he is on telly,” another tweeted, as a fellow fan wrote: “Got to love it when Gino does a phone in.”
Fellow fans posted: “Just love Gino he’s hilarious!! He’s trying so hard to be “good” lol” and “This has cheered me up” with a crying laughing emoji.
Another social media user wrote: “ ITV are missing a trick not having a show called ‘Ask Gino’ it would be hilarious!!!”
A fellow fan chimed: “I don’t usually watch daytime TV but apparently I am missing out, Gino Talks on This Morning is exactly the laughs I needed this morning, albeit very unexpected.”
