This Morning chef Clodagh McKenna paid tribute to the Queen on Monday by sharing an image of her alongside her late father-in-law Henry Herbert, 7th Earl of Carnarvon - also known as Lord Porchester.
The 47-year-old took to Instagram to post a black and white image of the pair with her 229,000 followers, before announcing she was taking a short break from social media out of respect.
The Irish cookbook author and presenter wrote: "Hi everyone, I'm taking a wee break from social media in respect of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
"Pictured here with my late father in law Lord Porchester. I'll be back soon. Sending love to you all, Clo xxx."
Lord Porchester was a personal friend of the Queen for the majority of his life and was appointed her racing manager in 1969 - a post he held until he passed away in 2001.
Fans and celebrities were quick to respond with TV personality Tommy Smythe commenting: "There is such a lovely look of fun and friendship on the faces of The Queen and Harry’s father in this picture. I thought of H right away when the news broke, and of the afternoon we spent with his Mum hearing wonderful stories. I'll send you a message (off here) ~ Much love, x."
Another user added: "Oh how special to have this privilege see you soon Clo we're all struggling at this loss you take care."
A third replied: "The friendship was deep and very real. I loved the times I spent in their delightful presence. The Queen was always so happy at the Highclere stud and at Milford discussing those winning bloodlines."
And a fourth said: "Bless you Clodagh! Your father must have been very proud! Love and hugs to you and your family!"
The show's co-presenter Holly Willoughby, meanwhile, has revealed how she told her kids about the Queen's death - and their heart-warming response.
The star told how she and children - Harry, 13, Belle, 11, and Chester, seven - headed down to Buckingham Palace at the weekend to pay tribute to the late monarch, and how they had penned letters to cope with their grief.
"They wrote letters, and I think that's a nice way to get out their feelings and grief. For me, explaining it to Chester somewhat, from being a little girl, this is what she was destined to do. All her dreams had to be put on the back burner," she shared.
