Holly Willoughby has been forced to pull out of This Morning for the foreseeable future after being struck by a worrying illness. It means Phillip Schofield will be without his usual right-hand woman as he returns to the ITV show himself on Monday.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Holly told her 8.2millions followers she has Shingles, and may be away for the rest of the week. She posted on her story: "Hi... Just to let you know I may be away for the rest of the week as I have Shingles... I'll be back as soon as I'm better. Huge Love Holly xxx".
Shingles is a common, but painful, condition caused by the same virus as chickenpox and also mainly affects the skin in a similar manner. According to the NHS, when a person has chickenpox, the virus can then go dormant within the body and if it is reactivated later in life it results in shingles.

Holly was set to return to This Morning tomorrow (Monday) following a two-week break for the Easter holidays. Her last appearance on the daytime show was on March 31 when she revealed that a half-day at school earned her a surprise visit in the studio.
Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle stepped in full-time to front This Morning over the Easter break, but may extend their stay slightly as it has not yet been revealed who will replace Holly this week as she recovers.
