It's official - Nando's will start serving up its famous PERi PERi dishes to customers in Walkden next month.
Doors will open and grills fired up on April 1, bringing the chain's South African flavours to Walkden Retail Park.
The exciting announcement was made on Facebook this week, asking hungry punters to mark their busy calendars.
Turning up the heat, the Walkden team posted on Facebook a countdown to the date customers have been waiting for.
The post said: "It’s official! Save. The. DATE. 1st April, Mi Casa Su Casa."
Nando's first announced it would be moving into the retail park back in November, 2019.
Earlier this month, the branch put out a call for 'PERi PERi enthusiasts' to help serve up the chain's South African spices, announcing it was bringing 35 jobs to the area.
The Salford restaurant will be followed by another new branch coming to Robin Retail Park in Wigan.
The Wigan spot is expected to open later this year.
