Armed with a budget of around £300,000, you could get yourself an apartment in Clifton or a bigger house if you're willing to move a bit further afield to somewhere like Weston-super-Mare.

With that in mind, we’ve taken a look at what that amount can typically buy you in Bristol and places nearby.

All of these unique homes are for sale for around £300,000 and for some, you may have enough change left over for renovations.

Clifton

As perhaps Bristol's most exclusive suburb, there are slim pickings in Clifton when it comes to houses worth around £300,000.
