This is the piece of home fitness equipment Jennifer Aniston’s trainer thinks everyone should own

Jennifer Aniston is working out against a plain, blush-coloured backdrop. She is leaning on a mat on her right knee with her left leg out to the side. A resistance band is looped around her left ankle and she pulls it taut overhead in her left hand.

If you are looking to build strength and fitness at home, you don’t need a full gym. You can get an effective workout with minimal equipment, according to Jen Aniston’s personal trainer Dani Coleman. The head trainer at Pvolve says it’s worth investing in a P3 trainer, a versatile piece of equipment that she uses to train the Hollywood actress.

"It’s hard to pick one thing to recommend as I love all our products, but I would say the P3 trainer is going to be my number one pick and it’s also one of Jen’s favorite pieces of equipment. It’s a total body workout in one piece of equipment and it’s super versatile," said Coleman, who puts Aniston through her paces three to four times a week.

What is the P3 trainer

It’s a unique resistance tool that combines two different length bands, a handle attachment, ankle and wrist cuffs and a Pilates-style ball. It can be used to tone and strengthen the whole body, allowing you to pull against resistance in a similar way to a Pilates reformer machine.

"You can use it standing or on the mat and you can use it anywhere, anytime, any place and get a full-body workout," adds Coleman. "You can use it for biceps curls and triceps, overhead reaches or big rotational movements that are super functional."

Coleman says as well as resistance training we should all be prioritizing mobility work and these are the two exercises she recommends everyone should add to their fitness routine.

What is Pvolve?

Founded in 2017, Pvolve is a Pilates-inspired fitness app that gained global attention when Hollywood actress Jen Aniston became an ambassador. The Hollywood star said she fell in love with the low-impact home workouts post-COVID while recovering from a back injury and has been training with Coleman ever since.
