Australia’s housing crisis has many faces. For some, it’s crippling rent. For others, it looks more like a mortgage cliff. Some have a roof over their head but no services, not even running water. Guardian Australia has been reporting on housing affordability issues for the better part of a decade. But now we wanted to find out how the many faces of this crisis were changing the daily lives of Australians, and we wanted to know: is it reshaping our communities in its image?
