Gary Neville was quick to hail Mohamed Salah after his goal against Manchester City at Anfield.
After a goalless first-half, Liverpool took the lead with just 14 minutes of normal time remaining, with Salah making up after missing a chance at the start of the second-half.
Alisson Becker in the Liverpool goal launched the ball forward and Salah spun Joao Cancelo with his first touch to go clean through on goal. He then made no mistake, slotting the ball into the bottom left corner of the Kop net.

Anfield erupted after the goal, and Neville believes the way Salah spun Cancelo in the build-up was mesmerising.
“This is special, all the talk before the game of Erling Haaland but he has just reminded us of what world-class looks like,” he said during Sky Sports commentary.
“Alisson sees that Salah is against Cancelo one-on-one and this is absolutely amazing from Salah. This time faced one-on-one with Alisson, he is never ever going to miss that.
“That first bit is mesmerising, the strength, the touch, under pressure, the finish just scoops it. What a moment that is!”
