Arsenal have learnt how much they have been fined by the FA after their Premier League title clash against Manchester City descended into chaos on multiple occasions. On February 17, the FA released a statement detailing that three instances from the match were being investigated for breaching rules and regulations.
Both clubs did not appeal against the charges, with the FA confirming the price of their fines in another statement on Friday. The statememt read: "Arsenal have been fined £65,000 after the club admitted that it failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the 56th minute of the fixture.
As a consequence, an independent Appeal Board has imposed an additional fine of £20,000, which had been suspended from an earlier determination relating to the club's breach in their game against Oxford United on 9 January.

Despite being charged for surrounding a match official on two separate occasions in the clash, the statement goes on to reveal that City have been fined £75,000. The reigning champions committed double the amount of Arsenal's offences in that game but have only been charged £10,000 more.
The payment that must be made following a similar incident occurring was also revealed to be £20,000 which means the Gunners have been fined more than their title rivals despite the same number of incidents occurring. The clear gap caused several fans to raise that point on social media with many unhappy with further treatment from the FA.
@NiallAFC1886 - How was it that citys was more egregious yet were handed a bigger fine *laughing face emoji*
@theodox_dip - Are they broke and looking for money? They can open a gofundme instead of aggressively fining Arsenal
@WilsonFC2012 - Another fine for Arsenal. Shock.
@Spenelli4 - This is ridiculous now!
@Invictus8979230 - We must be approaching 1 mill in fines for this season
@BobbyNorthbank - It’s actually laughable at this point *laughing face emoji* has any team ever received this many FA charges in 1 season? All of ours have seemed so innocuous too, I wonder if the are fining other teams in the same manner
@SamuelA13284266 - When it comes to fine, the F.A never forgets their jobs especially arsenal
@jcnaid - only teams in the entire league that go up to the ref apparently
