Alton Towers is launching Blue Light Card member days, giving emergency workers exclusive access to the Staffordshire attraction. Holders of the Blue Light Card will be able to visit the theme park for a cheaper cost later this year.
They will be given exclusive access to Alton Towers for £19. This is less than half the standard price.
Usually a standard day pass at a weekend is £44. The two member days will be on Saturday, March 11, and Sunday, March 12, reports Staffordshire Live.

There will be similar member days at other Merlin attractions across the UK, including Chessington World of Adventures, Legoland and Thorpe Park. Tickets will include complimentary parking and 20% off selected food and drinks vendors.
Blue Light Card CEO Tom Dalby said: “We know that the last few years have been particularly hard on our members and their families, as they’ve continued to go above and beyond to keep our communities healthy, safe and supported. We're extremely grateful to be working with Merlin Entertainments to give back to NHS staff, emergency service providers and social care workers with our exclusive member-only events, and we hope those taking part make the most of their well-deserved day off.
“To extend our token of thanks, we’re also delighted to be donating all proceeds from these event days to charitable projects and initiatives that improve the mental and physical well-being of our members.”
