This Google trick will give Friends fans a surprise when they search Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler, Ross or Joey

There aren't many telly shows nowadays that you can imagine still being as binge-watched as Friends is today.

So it's no surprise that fans across the world are celebrating 25 years of the hit American sitcom.

A total of 236 episodes over 10 years saw Monica Geller, Rachel Green, Phoebe Buffay, Chandler Bing, Ross Geller and Joey Tribbiani give us some classic TV moments.

And now Google is getting in on the celebratory action with a little trick that will please any Friends superfan.

When users search for any characters name, a small emoji will appear next to it that you need to click.

For example, by typing in Ross Geller a sofa icon will appear. And we already know you're all shouting it.

Once you click on it, the screen will begin to PIVOT and it's rather entertaining.

Follow this for each character and you'll get a different surprise each time.

But for those wanting to find Janice screeching 'Oh. My. God' or Gunther keeping busy in Central Perk will be left disappointed as it only applies to the six main characters.

Google hasn't stopped there either as by typing in "Friends glossary" into the search engine, a random word from the iconic series will appear on screen and give an explanation to each.

Maybe you can include them in your next conversation.

And it doesn't come as a shock to find fans are loving it.

"omg have you seen what google has done for the friends 25th anniversary," tweeted one.

Another added: "Someone told me to hit Google and search each character.....now I can't stop!!"

A third commented: "Google wins today. Google the #Friends character name and press the little icon on the right hand side. There's one for each character."
