It’s safe to say that many New Orleans Saints fans aren’t happy with the state of their team under head coach Dennis Allen. After averaging 11.6 wins per season in the last five years with Sean Payton at the helm, fans have watched the Saints win just a dozen games through Allen’s two years on the job. Calls for Allen to be fired from his post have spread among Saints fan communities on social media.
And that message has come to the Caesars Superdome. One enterprising Saints fan, Jonathan Jeanice, announced that he plans to distribute 500 shirts reading “Fire Dennis Allen” before kickoff with the Carolina Panthers this Sunday. He’s also using the shirts to promote Louisiana-based animal welfare organizations including K9 Rouge Rescue and Heroes Everywhere Animal Rescue.
This isn’t the first time Jeanice has done this; he distributed shirts before last week’s loss to the Detroit Lions, too. The Who Dat Nation is known for voicing their support and opinions on creative signs in the stands each week. Now some of them will be wearing their opinions, too.
