This Classic Pattern Is Destined to Be Declared the Official Print of Summer 2024

There are certain prints and patterns that will always be in fashion. Even when they're not necessarily in style. See polka dots, plaid and stripes, both the vertical and horizontal kinds. So we aren't at all surprised to see bandana prints reclaiming their rightful spot in the current sartorial landscape.

Paisley patterned pieces are about to be in short supply due to exceedingly high demand. It's all thanks to fashion houses like Miu Miu and Chloe. The former, purveyor of all tricky trends of late, paired a bandana halter top with one of its now legendary micro skirts. Chloe's boho persona seems initially contradictory, but the French brand put its own spin on slides and cotton-poplin shirts with more subtle paisley accents.

Some labels are practically synonymous with bandana prints. Etro has so many paisley options that you can mix and match them and never wear the same outfit twice. Zimmermann also falls into that category. The Australian label loves adding them to flowy dresses thereby transforming what may be considered a cottagecore silhouette into something more undefinable.

The designer must-haves come with hefty price tags, but they're far from the only options. We tracked down some pretty cool interpretations from Zara, Free People, Liu Jo and Nanushka that are more reasonable. That way you can buy more while saving more.
