This Christina Hall-designed home epitomizes modern farmhouse luxury – and it's listed for $999,990

Christina Hall.

The opportunity to invest in a home before it becomes famous is rare, but exactly the case with this Tennessee property designed by HGTV's Christina Hall.

Located in downtown Franklin, the charming monochromic home is due to appear on an upcoming episode of Christina in the Country (per the listing), but we have the chance to pick up the keys before it airs. In true Christina Hall style, the home exhibits a bright, airy, and neutral color palette that serves as the perfect base for modern farmhouse-style furnishings.

Design decisions aside (for the moment, at least), the home itself, built in 1960, comprises four bedrooms and three bathrooms and spans 2,137 square feet across two levels. In terms of its curb appeal, the property exhibits a subtle black exterior hue and enjoys a black-and-white porch (foreshadowing the color palette that awaits behind its front door).

During the renovation, Hall gutted the home, entirely redesigning the floor plan and installing all new plumbing, electrical, and HVAC to bring the retro property firmly into the modern day.

As hinted, a monochromatic color scheme reigns inside the home – starting with the open-plan living space that includes the entrance area and primary living room. Here, Hall reminds us why neutrals are eternally timeless and versatile while injecting earthy hues through olive-green cushions and curated houseplants.

The same color scheme flows into our favorite room of the home: the kitchen. Here, a quiet luxury aesthetic comes into play via veined marble countertops, uncluttered open shelves, and gold hardware finishes that subtly interrupt the neutral palette.

The kitchen area leads directly outside to a spacious deck for enjoying meals al fresco. This overlooks the grassy yard with ample space for both sunbathing and gardening. There's also an indoor wet bar to make entertaining even more fun.

In terms of the bedrooms, we see Hall steer slightly away from the stark black-and-white palette seen around the main living spaces. She opts for slightly earthier pink hues, best seen through the luxury bedding and artwork, to create a therapeutic space that's perfect for slumber.

The bathrooms, meanwhile, boast a freestanding tub and white-and-tan checkered shower tile that complement the soft wooden furnishings and accessories.

We (sadly) can't all pick up the keys to this home, but we can still enjoy a look inspired by its modern farmhouse aesthetic. Here are three of our current favorite ways to invest in the style.
