Peek a boo
The comic “Peek a boo” tells a simple story about newlyweds. This story is about accepting each other for who we are and not expecting people to be perfect because, let’s face it, no one is. The couple accepted one another and learned to appreciate the monsters they both have inside.
Our journey
“Our journey” is about travelers, at first sight, going to places they had always wanted to see. But perhaps there’s a deeper meaning in this story? Maybe it symbolizes relationships and how you travel a fraction of your life with one person, but after some time, split up and continue with another. There’s no reason to be sad, though—you still see the same sunset.
Infinite
This story is quite eerie in a way. The way the wax figures just keep going, live their lives, burn out, and do it all over again can seem quite unsettling. But the story is kind of a reflection of our society. We can see the wax figures fighting and burning each other’s flames out, and one just hurries down the path, slips, and falls. It can be a metaphor for the way we live our life.
Caution
“Caution” shows us the life of a very mean man breaking down the people he cares about. His words hurt the people around him so much that they just shatter. Perhaps if that happened in real life, we would think before we speak and be much nicer to each other. It’s hard to see how much damage your words really do sometimes, so just be kind to one another and make sure you spread as much positivity as possible!
Old man and the tree
“Old man and the tree” is a very sad story about a man that lost his loved one and couldn’t let her go, staying by her side even after she grew into a tree. If this story didn’t make you tear up, congratulations on the steel heart.
Brave heart
Being brave and standing up for the little ones is not an easy task. We can see that perfectly in “Brave Heart.” This little boy does everything to protect his dog and her pups. Even when he got beat down by bullies (who are just disgusting—who drowns puppies?!), even though his family life is not that great. He still manages to keep a good heart and becomes a soldier that saves people’s lives.
