The Philadelphia Phillies’ wild ride is continuing on to the 2022 World Series as they beat the San Diego Padres, 4-3, in dramatic fashion Sunday to win the NLCS 4-1.
Oh, and they punched their ticket to their first World Series since 2009 in dramatic fashion with Bryce Harper hitting a two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning that will never be forgotten by Phillies fans.
Harper crushed his two-run shot to left field on a rainy day at Citizens Bank Park. The crowd lost its mind as the ball traveled over the wall and so did Harper and his teammates.
This view of the homer is so cool:

I love how you don’t even see the ball leave the park – just the reaction of Harper, his teammates and the fans. It’s beautiful.
Here’s another look at his homer:

I’m sure this will go over like a lead zeppelin, but there’s no crowd like a postseason baseball crowd. https://t.co/69jHqSSImA
