Recently, a Los Angeles-based startup, Sudowrite, launched a new fiction-writing artificial intelligence (AI) model. It’s called Muse and is built to generate creative writing pieces primarily focused on fiction. The model joins the other writing-focused AI models of Sudowrite and is claimed to remove clichés from the output to ensure that every generation is unique prose. So, let’s take a closer look at Sudowrite’s latest AI offering.

What’s So Special About Muse AI Model
Sudowrite founder James Yu took X to announce its new Muse AI model. The founder stated that the model had been in testing for months but is now available for everyone. He also stated that the company is working with hundreds of authors and is trained on the culmination of countless lessons learned from conversations with 20,000+ authors.
Today, we all know that generative AI has come a long way and can create some really impressive pieces of writing. But it’s not 100% prone to clichés, constructing monotonous sentences, and following a templatised plot structure. That’s exactly what Muse AI is trying to solve, at least in the fiction writing space.
According to Yu, Muse AI can tackle these issues by focusing only on fiction writing. Since it doesn’t try to cover everything, it has been trained specifically for creative writing. According to the company’s support page, it’s claimed to be the most unfiltered model on Sudowrite and even covers violence and adult themes.
Note: Sudowrite also supports other AI models like Claude 3.5 Sonnet, GPT-4o, and DeepSeek-R1.
Muse AI Price
The Muse AI subscription starts at $10 monthly and gives 2,25,000 credits. It also offers an expensive plan that costs $44 monthly and gives two million credits. However, the company is also offering a free version that gives 10,000 credits.
