A third person has died in hospital days after a horror crash on the A9.
The 46-year-old woman sustained serious injuries in the collision on Wednesday and was rushed to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on the A9 at Ralia, south of Newtonmore, at its junction with the B9150, after a crash between a lorry and a car.
Two passengers, a 75-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have now confirmed the female driver died in hospital several days later.
The driver of the lorry, a 59-year-old man, was uninjured.
Sergeant Alasdair Mackay said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of those who have died at what is a very difficult time for all.
“We continue to carry out enquiries to establish the full circumstances and anyone who has not already spoken to us and can assist is asked to get in touch.”
