The search for a paddleboarder who has gone missing in the Lake District continues. On Sunday (July 7) Cumbria Police were called to Ullswater after a man from Greater Manchester had fallen into the water.
Police say the man, who has not been named, was with a friend at Aira Point, close to the ferry stop when he fell in. The emergency services and coastguard have resumed their search. The man's family has been informed.
People have been asked to avoid the area while emergency services continue their work. A Cumbria Police spokesperson told CumbriaLive : "Searches yesterday concluded early evening and were due to resume this morning."
