Thieves steal £25k motorbikes and kit in raid at Scots home as police launch probe

Brazen thieves have stolen a number of motorbikes from a Perthshire property.

They made off with five expensive scrambler motocross bikes in the raid last weekend.

They targeted a property in Kingswood, which is three miles north of Bankfoot, in Perthshire.

Officers gave details of the distinctive bikes and their registration numbers.

The items that were taken included-

- 2022 Yamaha YZF 250 worth £8000

- 2019 KTM SXF 350 worth £6500

- Yamaha 2002 YZ 250 worth £2000

- 2017 KTM SX 125 worth £5300

- KTM SX 65 worth £3000

A yellow, green and black cameo print Airoh motocross helmet was also taken along with a Yoshimura stainless Steel exhaust in its box.

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed the theft took place between 11pm on Sunday 01 May and 6:45am Monday 02 May.

They said: “Anyone who has information that could assist us in identifying those responsible or to the whereabouts of these stolen items is asked to contact 101 or use our online form quoting CR/0018985/22.”
