The Border Collies were abandoned in Fintry on Sunday afternoon following the weekend incident.

Its registration is ST15WRT and it was stolen from a farm near Coupar Angus sometime between 9am – 4pm on Sunday 22nd May.
The spokesman added: “Inside the car were the owner’s two border collie dogs.
“These dogs were later found abandoned in the Fintry area of Dundee. Fortunately they were not harmed.
