Thierry Henry has offered up some advice for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford after he saw a number of his efforts saved by Hugo Lloris during Wednesday's 2-0 win over Tottenham.
While the England international will just be thankful his side came away from the game with all three points, Rashford may harbour some concerns over his own wasteful finishing that could have made the scoreline a far more comfortable one for Erik ten Hag's team.
United dominated their visitors as they managed to register an astonishing 28 shots on goal over the course of the entire game. Lloris endured his busiest night's work of the season so far and gave a very good account of himself despite being on the wrong end of the result.
Goals from Fred and Bruno Fernandes proved to be enough in the end, with United now turning the tide on their campaign to sit just one point outside the Champions Leauge qualification spots. They now breathe down the necks of fourth-placed Chelsea after their 0-0 draw away at Brentford.
19 of the 28 shots United had on goal came in the first-half, with one of the most clear-cut opportunities falling to the feet of Rashford, who tried to go low and across the Spurs keeper but Lloris was equal to it.
The second-half saw him have another effort from a similar range stopped again as he opened up his body to try and bend the ball beyond Lloris into the far corner.

Henry was on punditry duty for Amazon Prime's coverage of the clash and he discussed the importance of every striker learning how to "freeze" their counterpart between the sticks before having an attempt on goal.
"He could have done better," Henry explained when analysing Rashford's low-driven first-half effort. "This is what I say when this ball is coming to you, have a look at the goalkeeper to freeze him.
"Strikers don't do that often, the ball is coming to you, you know it, you have look at the goalkeeper to freeze him and he never looked. What you do normally, he just fires low and across. Power is not always the answer."
Rashford showed little sign of improvement in the second-half, which led to Henry questioning his tendency to favour power over precision.
"You open the ball up, just finish it," the Arsenal legend added. "Place it down here. Why hard? Side foot, goal, see you later. But it was right at him [the goalkeeper]. But great save from Hugo."
Despite the feedback, Rashford remains United's top scorer so far this term with five goals to his name including big-game strikes against Arsenal and Liverpool.
