Police are hunting a thief who stole a man's bank card outside a Nottingham mosque. The man realised his wallet had gone missing outside a mosque in Gregory Boulevard, Hyson Green, at around 7.45pm on September 5.
The victim received a phone notification saying someone had tried to use the card to buy items from a number of shops nearby within half an hour. The card has not yet been retrieved and Nottinghamshire Police has now issued a CCTV image of someone they believe could assist them with their inquiries.
Sergeant Dan Buckle, of Nottinghamshire Police, said enquiries are ongoing. “It’s extremely important that anyone who recognises the man in this image gets in touch with the police as soon as possible," he said.

“It’s important people realise that taking items that don’t belong them is never acceptable and will land them in hot water with the police. We are still investigating this incident.
"We’d ask that anyone with information calls the police on 101, quoting incident 628 of September 6, 2022, or phones Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
