Thibaut Courtois took aim at Real Madrid team-mate for Toni Kroos for his “really stupid” mistake which led to Kylian Mbappe’s dramatic late winner.
Paris Saint-Germain controlled much of the Champions League last-16 first leg and richly deserved the 1-0 victory given to them by Mbappe’s injury-time winner.
The French giants had eight shots on target to Madrid’s one, who appeared content to take a 0-0 scoreline back to the Bernabeu later this month.
Former Chelsea ‘keeper was in fine form for the visitors, keeping PSG at bay on numerous occasions, including saving a Lionel Messi penalty in the second half.

But with the seconds ticking away, Kroos gave the ball away in midfield, with Marquinhos finding Neymar, who subsequently backheeled the ball to Mbappe.
And the World Cup winner - seemingly destined for Los Blancos this summer - danced past two opposition defenders before firing low underneath Courtois to spark wild scenes of celebration inside the Parc des Princes.
A clearly frustrated Courtois was unhappy with the manner of Mbappe’s winner, branding it a “silly goal” to concede.
“It wasn’t so good for us, although when you are 0-0 until the 93rd minute, it’s quite good,” Courtois explained to CBS Sports. “With the chances they had and the penalty, to then concede a silly goal at the end is hard to take.
“We lose the ball in midfield…really stupid. Then I think Mbappe can go away from two players too easily and I have bad luck that the ball goes in between my legs. Unfortunate.
‘We had defended really well, then we gave away a very stupid pass… it’s very hard."
The Belgian stopper also questioned his side’s approach to the game, sitting in a low block and attempting to hit their opponents on the counter.
He continued: “It’s not good, we didn’t have a shot on target today so that’s not good. For us, it was hard to cope with their high pressure and maybe we didn’t relax on the ball.
“If you want to play defensive, we have to be more clinical on the counter-attack and we also weren’t today - we lost too many easy balls and it’s hard to get something out of the game.
“A draw would have been good to go back to the Bernabeu, although without the away rule, a draw would have meant we would have had to win anyway at home, so it will be the same thing.
“The most important thing is that we can defend like today, but we have to be better in attack.”
With away goals now removed from the competition, there was a feeling that Carlo Ancelotti had set-up his side in a more conservative manner, but Courtois claimed that had no impact on the players themselves.
“I don’t think players think about it too much, it’s not like when you have the away rule you go crazy to find that goal because 0-0 is also OK.
“It doesn’t change too much, we know we have to win.”
