Liverpool have completed the signing of Spanish midfielder Thaigo Alcantara from Bayern Munich.
After months of transfer speculation, the Reds have signed the Barcelona midfielder in deal worth around £27 million. The Spanish international is Liverpool 's second signing of the summer transfer window so far, with left-back Kostas Tsimikas joining earlier this summer.
But despite the 29-year-old having a phenomenal 2019/20 campaign, in which he won the Bundesliga and the Champions League, Thiago has actually been downgraded on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team ahead of the new season!

Despite being downgraded for FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, with Thiago's overall rating dropping from 87 to 85, the Spaniard remains one of the best in the world in his position. In fact, Thiago is rated as the 73rd best player on FUT 21.
As you can see from his FUT 21 card above, Thiago's passing and dribbling attributes set him apart from the other Reds midfielders, offering something that his prospective Liverpool teammates don't.
As you can see via the graphic above, no Reds player can match Thiago in terms of passing and dribbling on FUT 21, despite Jordan Henderson and Fabinho rated more highly overall.
The Spaniard would instantly become the most talented passer at Anfield according to FUT 21, with neither Henderson (86) or Fabinho (85) able to match his short passing attribute.
Only Gini Wijnaldum (85) can come close to Thiago in terms of dribbling, but even then, there's still a big gap between the two players.
The 29-year-old has also been given five-star skills on FUT 21, meaning he's one of only 52 players in the entire game to be able to perform every skill move currently in the game, which further illustrates his immense dribbling ability.
Overall, Thiago's FIFA 21 Ultimate Team rating suggests that Liverpool's midfield is about to get a whole lot stronger next season, with the former Barcelona midfielder adding a completely different dimension to the Reds squad.
FIFA 21 has an official UK and worldwide release date of October 9, 2020, but some editions will allow you to play FIFA 21 slightly earlier than this.
If you pre-order the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC you’ll be able to play from October 6, 2020, with the Standard Edition allowing fans to play from the game's official UK and worldwide release date of October 9, 2020.
