Many Liverpool players may be enjoying a hard-earned mid-winter break, but that doesn't mean the Reds are resting on their laurels.
With two weeks between the Premier League win at Crystal Palace last Sunday and the next game at home to Championship side Cardiff City in the FA Cup fourth round, Jurgen Klopp and his backroom staff will be assessing a number of issues ahead of the next stage of an arduous campaign.
So too will Fenway Sports Group and Liverpool's recruitment team, with the clock ticking down on Monday night's transfer deadline.
What, then, is in the Anfield inbox?

Sort departures
Anyone expecting Liverpool to make some late signings in the January window was almost certain to be disappointed - well, until Friday morning that is.
Instead, the transfer business will concentrate on those going out of the club.
Liverpool have rejected overtures from Monaco and Leeds for Takumi Minamino, while Divock Origi has become a target of Atalanta. Goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros will spend the rest of the season on loan at National League side Notts County.
Nat Phillips is available for around £12million-£15m with Newcastle United and Watford having already had bids dismissed while West Ham United, Burnley and clubs from Italy and Germany hold an interest.
Neco Williams will also be allowed to depart having been valued at £10m last summer.
And Rhys Williams could go on loan, with Championship side Sheffield United interested. Leighton Clarkson, though, is likely to stay put.
Reintegrate the rehabilitated
Klopp is poised to have extra options at his disposal in the coming weeks.
Thiago Alcantara hasn't played since before Christmas but is expected to be in full team training next week ahead of the Cardiff game.
The Spaniard posted a fitness update earlier this week on social media that suggested he was near to a return.
Divock Origi, out for more than six weeks with a knee injury, should be back later in February.
And while Harvey Elliott is again training with the team at Kirkby, there is no rush to recall him as he builds up general fitness having been out since September with a serious ankle problem.
Give Gomez a go
Joe Gomez has had a difficult season after returning from almost nine months out with a knee issue.
The England man has fallen behind summer signing Ibrahima Konate in the centre-back pecking order and has featured for barely 20 minutes in the Premier League this campaign.
But after just four starts in all competitions, the FA Cup visit of Cardiff seems the ideal time to give Gomez another opportunity.
The defender will surely welcome it with open arms. He needs the game time.
Solve midfield conundrum
If there's one fear nagging away at Liverpool fans despite an ongoing encouraging campaign, it's the make-up of the midfield.
The imminent return of Thiago and the availability of Naby Keita after the Africa Cup of Nations gives Klopp increased options.
Fabinho would perhaps be regarded a certain starter. But where does that leave skipper Jordan Henderson? And what about the lively form of both Curtis Jones and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain?
Finding the right blend at the key time will be crucial over what will be a pivotal six weeks in Liverpool's season. Klopp and his coaching staff will be assessing.
Keep fingers crossed
Of course, Keita wasn't the only Liverpool player called up for AFCON duty.
And while Klopp would be delighted if one of Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane wins the tournament, he will not want that to come at the expense of their fitness.
The Reds boss, then, will be forgiven for watching their remaining games while peering from out behind his sofa...
