Jurgen Klopp is hopeful of Thiago Alcantara being cleared to play Saturday's Champions League final against Real Madrid.
The Spain international was forced off at half-time of Sunday's 3-1 win over Wolves and is an injury doubt for the European Cup showdown in Paris on Saturday night.
Thiago was absent from training on Wednesday as Klopp's coaches put their players through their paces at the AXA Centre in front of the media.

However, Klopp confirmed that Thiago is due to return to training on Thursday, giving him a chance to start the game at the Stade de France, revealing the prognosis was "surprisingly good" in his pre-match press conference on Wednesday afternoon.
Klopp said: “I met him inside, [there's] a good chance he will be training this afternoon, he did some stuff this morning. It was not planned he will be doing this session with the players and in the moment it looks like he can be part of training tomorrow.
"That would be pretty helpful, obviously. We go from there. It's surprisingly good. After the game I was not positive about it but we got news that night already that it doesn't look that bad. We will see. I can imagine... now three days before a game, he cannot train but we just have to make sure we do the right thing in the right moment and we will try.”
"Nobody has any [emotional] pain from Sunday now. We're all really looking forward to it. There are still levels to reach. We don't think that because we reached two other cup finals that we wouldn't care about this.
"It's our third Champions League final in four years. It's a special group. We've had ups and downs in our own Champions League history."
Liverpool were handed more good news on the injury front on Wednesday with the news that Fabinho was declared to return to training with his team-mates.
