Arsenal and Liverpool will lock horns at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Whilst the Gunners go into the game top of the Premier League table and the team in better form, recent history certainly favours the Reds. In four meetings across two competitions last season, Jurgen Klopp's side emerged victorious on three occasions - drawing the other - and didn't concede a single goal.
In fact, the corresponding fixture back in March saw Liverpool continue their quest for a second league title in three years with a 2-0 win over Arsenal in North London thanks to second-half goals from Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino. But ahead of the Merseyside outfit's return to the capital, there has been some mixed news in training.

As spotted by our friends at the Liverpool Echo, Klopp has been handed a welcome boost with Andy Robertson taking part in Friday's session alongside Curtis Jones. With regards to the left-back, a knee problem has kept him on the sidelines since the 4-1 defeat to Napoli in the Champions League last month.
Meanwhile, Jones' season so far has been disrupted by fitness issues with his one and only appearance coming in the Community Shield win over Manchester City at the end of July. It remains to be seen if either player will be included in Liverpool's matchday squad, but of the pair, it would appear that the midfielder has the better chance.
"Robbo is running a lot. Looks like he is close," Klopp told reporters during his pre-match press conference on Friday. "Curtis Jones was in training yesterday. Looked good. But that's not the first session. He's probably the closest. Nothing new, in a good way."
With that said, there was no sign of Thiago Alcantara in this particular training session. At the time of writing, there hasn't been an explanation regarding the Spaniard's absence and Liverpool fans will be hoping that it's nothing serious given how important the 31-year-old is to their midfield.
The two players set to miss out for Liverpool against Arsenal is ex-Gunner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has been out with a hamstring injury since pre-season in July, and Naby Keita, who hasn’t played since the Community Shield, as Klopp confirmed their absences: "Naby and Ox still a little bit away," he added.
Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Darwin Nunez, Virgil van Dijk, Jota, Firmino Jordan Henderson, Alisson Becker, Joel Matip, Harvey Elliott, Joe Gomez and Ibrahima Konate were among the senior players spotted in the training session, so Klopp will have a strong squad to select from regardless.
