No, this is not a hungover Sunday sofa binge… it’s the Borussia Dortmund team sheet.

The German giants have taken the novel approach of theming their pre-match social media in recent weeks, announcing their team with a playful TV or film inspired twist.

Their latest take, ahead of the crunch Champions League clash with Tottenham has seen striker Paco Alcacer jokingly listed as number nine and three quarters, after the Kings Cross platform which boy wizard Harry Potter visits to board the train to Hogwarts in J.K. Rowling's book series.

Lucien Favre’s side could do with a bit of magic tonight as they look to overturn a 3-0 deficit from the first leg at Wembley.

Prior to the 3-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen, it was HBO hit series Game of Thrones that inspired the team sheet, with a call to ‘Defend the Wall’, in reference to their unbeaten home record in front of the Signal Iduna Park’s famous yellow wall.

Next came a Borussia Dortmund Oscars ceremony, with assist king Jadon Sancho winning best supporting actor, before a Breaking Bad theme was employed for the trip to Augsburg, but this time the chemistry was all wrong as they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat.
