These are the five best tearooms in Scotland, according to The Times.
Colonnades, Edinburgh
The tearoom, which is said to be "deep in the historic heart of the old town," was described as "a most civilised drawing room".
The location is run by the royal-warranted catering firm Heritage Portfolio and is a "respite and oasis from the old town trudge".
The Glass Barn, Mull
Just outside Tobermory sits this "uniquely vibey" tearoom. The spot sits within Sgriob-Ruadh farm where the "celebrated" Mull cheddars are made.
The framework of the barn structure was built on the Clyde and was originally part of Salen village hall which was taken down to make way for a new road.
Glen Lyon Roastery Café, Aberfeldy
Owners James and Fiona Grant are said to "really know" their coffee beans with these being sourced far and wide.
The tearoom also has a great shop, outdoor decking and a lovely wood-burning stove.
The various offerings from Ballintaggart and pastries from the Wild Hearth Bakery are a must-try for patrons.
The Cafe at Glenbarr, near Tarbert
Described as an "extraordinary local provisioner" with a great selection of cheese and homemade foods, the publication said there are "lots of good things to buy" here.
