TWO Scottish cities have been named among the best in the UK for food and drink by Time Out.
Edinburgh and Glasgow ranked sixth and seventh respectively, beating out places like Manchester and Birmingham.
Introducing the ranking, the publication said that the UK is home to plenty of "top-tier" food cities with these being filled to the brim with tasty dishes and lovely restaurants.
The ranking was compiled after quizzing thousands of city dwellers around the country on factors like the quality of their food scenes and the culinary diversity on offer.
